PETG -  Thermoforming Grade

PETG is an excellent material choice for thermoforming applications that require complex shapes and deep draws.  PETG has a wide thermoforming window which will allow users to save on processing costs by virtue of lower forming temperatures and shorter cycle times compared to most other plastics.  In addition, PETG has excellent impact resistant properties.  We offer 3 separate grades of PETG for thermoforming – 100% PETG, GAG (APET core), and GRG (RPET core).  For customers that are using PETG for its RF or heat sealing properties, the GAG and GRG materials offer a more economical option.
